Onsets & Releases
An onset is the posture of your voice as you follow a breath. A proper, relaxed onset can easily determine the quality of the notes that follow. On the other hand, an onset filled with tension can make singing more difficult.
Much like a proper onset can change the way you approach each phrase, a release at the end of each phrase can alter your tone, projected mood, and comfort level depending on your technique.
In this course you will learn proper technique to make the proper onsets and also releases, making them as comfortable and free as possible.
